Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir, who are looking to make a comeback via the domestic season, suffered a slight blow when the Duleep Trophy final they were playing in got affected by the rains. The first day was washed out in Kochi without a ball being bowled. Both Gambhir and Sehwag had represented India A against the West Indies A earlier. While Gambhir notched up a hundred, Sehwag failed to get even a fifty in the two matches the duo played.
The Duleep final holds great significance for them as it comes ahead of Indian team's selection
